Butterfly Sky Press is a new publisher of books for children and teachers. Launched in 2009, its first publications will be a series of books for primary grade teachers. The series will focus on classroom management and ways to help children by creating a nurturing classroom environment. Our first book is an innovative classroom management plan for Pre-K – 3rd grade teachers based on the social habits of wolves.

Our mission is, quite simply, helping you help children create a peaceful, balanced life filled with joy and unlimited possibilities. Our purpose is to offer help and hope to children who struggle with everyday issues like making friends and fitting in, to issues that offer more of a challenge to their well-being like anxiety and depression. By giving children comfort and understanding, we hope our books will touch them where they are, and gently guide them to where they want to be. Books for teachers meet this goal by enabling them to create a caring classroom that helps children relax, learn and succeed.

Legend says that butterflies, emerging from their cocoons, represent transformation, new beginnings and symbolize freedom. At Butterfly Sky Press we see children in this way. Always learning, always growing, they will overcome obstacles until they soar, with vibrant wings – peaceful, confident, against a sapphire blue butterfly sky.
